New Zealand Music Month

What is New Zealand Music Month? NZ Music Month is a promotion run by the NZ Music Commission that takes place each May, in association with other organisations including NZ On Air, RIANZ, APRA, Independent Music NZ, and the Radio Broadcasters Association. And obviously NZ Music Month could not succeed without the support of the country's labels, media, the general public, and, most importantly, the artists themselves. (from http://www.nzmusicmonth.co.nz/)

Why Kimbra? Because I like the song. Also, Kimbra's a kiwi from Hamilton (NZ) and she loves singing Nina Simone.

"It's kind of about the way that men and women communicate and how we can get so lost in translation a lot of the time" - Kimbra in 'Interview Magazine'

Now ain't that the blues?
